What have I been dealing with this week?
This week I’ve been cold! I haven’t actually caught a cold but I have been FREEZING, which is putting stress on my immune system and if I’m not careful I will end up coming down with a bug. Sometimes you can take all the right preventative steps but you end up sick anyway. I don’t know about you but I find it super FRUSTRATING when it stops me from doing the things I love like working, training and relaxing. I figured I wouldn’t be the only one out there like this so I wanted to do a follow on from last weeks blog to look at this.
In the video I go through some of the things that I experience that tell me my body is getting sick and needs some TLC, like itchy eyes and a dry throat, as well as what to do to stop the symptoms before they really take hold OR if it’s too late for that, what you can do to get rid of the bugs faster.

I would love to hear from you guys about what you are dealing with this week. There will most likely be someone else out there who is experiencing the same thing! It doesn’t have to be related to colds/flu, it can be any number of things to do with your health, training or performance. P.S The event I mentioned in last weeks blog, PLASTIC BEACHES to help clean up the beaches in my neighbourhood on the Hibiscus Coast, was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had around twenty people from the community come and help (we even had someone from as far away as Onehunga!) AND we cleared a huge amount of rubbish.
